YOGA CLASS STYLES
Donation Yoga is offered every Saturday morning. As Indira Devi once said, "the yoga is free but the electricity is not." We recognize that some classes might seem outside of your budget and want to offer a class where you pay what you can. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Donation Yoga is a dynamic postural class, taught by experienced teachers. A slow and deliberate exploration of asanas, meditation and breath work. We incorporate stable postures as well as flowing sequences to develop strength, flexibility and body awareness. Traditional poses including inversions and arm balances are practiced with an emphasis on safety. Variations are presented so that all present have a suitable entry point to the practice.

The power and strength we have to transform our world is infinite. When we connect with our breath and move with intention we transform the energy within us and around us. Students will be guided through a series of strong poses to enhance support through the transformation of energy. Vinyasa yoga focuses on the mind, body, heart and soul connection. We connect to the mindful movement of our bodies while linking our breath with our movement. The mindful connection to intention will be created at the start of class through the essence of awareness of breath. The intention of each student is unique to them and who they are. Students are encouraged to take class at their own pace. Modifications are offered for all levels of practice.

LUNCH TIME YOGA
Lunchtime Yoga is only 45 minutes long making this class perfect to fit into busy schedules. We will move through standing and seated postures, twists, and backbends, and of course...savasna. Let your lunch break become a time of wellness and watch how the days energy shifts for the better.

YOGA + BABY
YOGA + BABY is a class that includes tiny humans in the yoga room, but it is NOT a kids yoga class. Appropriate for pregnant moms and partners as well as caretakers and babies. We set up our mats in a circle with babies on blankets in an inner circle. (Please bring a cloth to lay on top of our blankets) this way the youngest yogis can watch you practice and see other babies if they are old enough to roll over or sit-up. The flow of class is slightly different from most adult yoga classes because you are welcome to feed, cuddle, or walk around the room as needed. We will practice gentle yoga intended to strengthen core muscles, lengthen hamstrings, release lower back pain, and do gentle back bends to help the upper back and shoulders from hunching over. Depending on the group and age of your baby we may also offer some poses that include your little one. By taking care of your own physical and mental health through simple breaths and postures you will begin to feel restored and the babies will likely be lulled into a peaceful happy state. There is time after this class to chat and drink tea, or BYO-snacks with others. It is our hope that this class will grow with our kids and be a place of community for the next generation of mindful yogis and their caregivers.

Pilates mat class is designed with a therapeutic framework that not only strengthens and lengthens muscles but also promotes endurance, and aids students in developing a healthy sense of alignment. Class is appropriate for both beginners and more advanced practitioners. Modifications will be given in response to injury, or physical imbalances.

CBD YOGA CLASSES
All CBD infused yoga classes include samples of locally sourced CBD products including tinctures, topical, or edibles. You are always welcome to opt out of the samples and you will still have a full yogic experience.
CBD VINYASA FLOW
An LYJ signature class, CBD Vinyasa Flow begins with a free sample of our Nutty Steph CBD chocolate (made in VT) followed by a gentle flow through traditional yoga postures and sequences. Before final Savasna, a CBD salve is offered to encourage self-massage and full relaxation. CBD chocolate, salves and tinctures are also available for sale either before or after any of our regularly scheduled classes. (No purchase necessary to participate in class)
CBD + Evolve + Move
Full on restorative yoga with CBD strains. Like melting into a warm honey pot. Class includes CBD samples of chocolate, tinctures, or salves aimed to target the areas of the body that are most activated in the restorative posture. For example before practicing a supported forward fold students might massage CBD salve into their lower back, or before twisting CBD oil might be used on the neck and shoulder area. Relaxing into simple movements and restorative postures helps the body to unwind and release patterns of tension or stress. This is a great class for those new to yoga or anyone who needs time to relax and renew.

BI-MONTHLY MEDITATION CIRCLES
Our Lunar Meditation Circles are offered twice a month on Friday evenings closest to the Full or New Moon.
NEW MOON CIRCLE
The purpose of these circles is to balance our energy, set new moon intentions, and use mind focusing techniques to achieve a sense of wholeness before beginning another moon cycle. Learn about astrology and tarot, receive Reiki, and harness the power of the moon. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal and pen and wear comfortable clothes.

FULL MOON CIRCLE
Another intuitive experience. The Full Moon is a time when light begins to wane, students are guided through relaxation and mind focusing techniques to release and let go of whatever is no longer serving their highest self. Full moon intention setting, guided meditation, magic. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal and pen and wear comfortable clothes.
